The French Cookie Box. Mother’s Day is around the corner and what better than surprising your Mom with a gorgeous box filled with homemade cookies. My mom loves French pastries and desserts, so all the more reason to make it for my mom.
With the lockdown, we are not able to do much. So, you have to think of ways to make it special and there cannot be anything as good as something handmade. I have been eyeing making a cookie box for quite some time but finally I was able to make it.
I chose macarons, madeleines, palmier and Sable Breton or French Butter Cookies. These are traditional French cookies and most importantly they look gorgeous too. I added two types of macarons, rose and lavender. The gorgeous colors of the macarons help to pop the entire box.
If you don’t have a box you can put together a small basket too. I made a handmade sign for Mother’s Day too. This French Cookie Box is a great thing for parties and can be the center of attraction too.
